At the Lake of Cornino (Udine) a project has been developed for the conservation of the Gryphon. In this area 75 griffons were released and the current population reaches 200 in the summer period. Nearby is the Nature Reserve of the Cornino Lake which offers tours and exhibits on activities to protect the vultures.
